When is Litecoin coming out with Smart Contracts?
I dug deep on the interent for this and to my surprise I
cannot find any relevant information on when this will
happen. To be honest with you I couldn't dig up much
litecoin smart contracts.
Will Litecoin ever adopt ltc smart contracts?
From what I read and I read a lot of information today
looking into the development of litecoin smart contracts
if it does happen it will be on side blockchain ranter
than on the bitcoin chain. I'm not that techy when it
comes to this stuff but I know how important it is to the
cryptocurrency world.
Blockchain can change the world and smart contracts is a
technology that can have a huge impact on things like
automobile purchases and ownership, Real Estate, etc.
What is a smart contract?
It is a computer protocol intended to facilitate, verify
or enforce the negotiation or performance of a contract.
The were first proposed by Nick Szabo in 1994.
Just think of a Real Estate Deal. You buy a house, you
sign a p&s agreement with a deposit. Then you wait 30 or
more days for lawyers to comb through the records to see
if anyone else has a right to the property. Put all this
nformation on the blockchain then whe a purchase is made
it is verified by the miners (3rd party anonymous
unbiased verification). Done move in an hour. No more
of this 30 day crap!
So you can see how impactful smart contracts can be. If
you need more techy type answers or just want to dive

Back to will litecoin ever have a smart contracts will it
happen in 2018? Charlie lee tweeted the litecoin team
has been hard at work working with companies to support
Litecoin. Nothing to announce yet, but here's what's in
the works:
Merhcant processor
Popular online wallet
goods trading platform
ONe huge unexpected surprise
so is the last statement about smart Contracts? or
Litecoin Atomic Swaps?
I don't know we will have to wait and see
Also In another Tweet Charlie Lee states he knows nothing
about the facebook rumor!
